RCVS Question Time comes to Glasgow
We would like to invite veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and other members of the practice teams from Glasgow to put their questions to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) at a ‘Question Time’ meeting to be held at the Erskine Bridge Hotel, Glasgow, on Wednesday 19 September.

Veterinary surgeons removed for unpaid retention fees
We have published a list of those veterinary surgeons removed from the RCVS Register of Veterinary Surgeons from 1 June for non-payment of retention fees, who remain off the Register as of 31 July 2012.

Dr Awuah Ohene-Gyan: case referred to Disciplinary Committee
Our Preliminary Investigation Committee has referred charges against veterinary surgeon Dr Awuah Ohene-Gyan to the Disciplinary Committee; a date for the hearing will be announced in due course.

Veterinary surgeons help Olympic flame on its way
The Olympic flame finally arrived in Westminster yesterday accompanied by the Household Cavalry, and passed close to the front door of Belgravia House en route to the Olympic stadium, having already been carried by at least three veterinary surgeons (that we know of!) elsewhere in the UK.

First two CertAVPs for Royal Army Veterinary Corps
The first two members of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps (RAVC) to achieve the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP), were presented with their certificates at Belgravia House last week (15 June 2012).
